1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

We may collect:

• Account data: name, email, profile details, authentication identifiers (Google OAuth or email/password via Supabase).
• Channel data: YouTube channel URLs, names, niches, snapshots, video metrics you enter or import via YouTube Data API.
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, timestamps, and technical logs (IP address, browser type, device) for security and operations.
• Payment data: when billing is enabled, payment details are processed by our payment provider (e.g. Stripe); we do not store full card numbers.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

• Provide and maintain the Service (auth, storage, analytics, exports).
• Enforce plan limits and improve product features.
• Send transactional emails (signup, password reset, confirmations) via our email provider.
• Generate AI-powered recommendations when you use Pro features (Phase 2+).
• Monitor security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)

Where GDPR applies, we rely on contract (providing the Service), legitimate interests (security, improvement), and consent where required (e.g. optional marketing). You may withdraw consent where applicable.

5. Sharing & processors

We do not sell your personal information. We share data with service providers who help us operate the Service, under contractual safeguards:

• Supabase — authentication, database, storage.
• Google — OAuth sign-in and YouTube Data API (subject to Google’s privacy policy).
• Hosting — application servers (e.g. Contabo VPS) and CDN where applicable.
• OpenAI — AI features when enabled, with prompts limited to your channel data.
• Stripe — payment processing when enabled.

6. International transfers

Data may be processed in countries where our providers operate. We use appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses) where required by law.

7. Retention

We retain account and channel data while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data. We may retain limited logs for security and legal compliance for a defined period.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS, access controls, Row Level Security in our database, and server-side-only API keys. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. Contact hello@tubeanalytics.tech. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

10. Cookies & local storage

We use essential cookies and similar technologies for authentication sessions (Supabase). We do not use advertising cookies. You can control cookies via browser settings; some features may not work without session cookies.

11. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data. Contact us if you believe we have done so.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. We will post changes on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be notified by email or in-app notice where appropriate.
